A KICKSTARTER Project
Who are We
Fresh out of college with coding degrees and a shared vision, two brothers Kyle and James Houghton turned their modest apartment into a makeshift R&D lab, determined to bridge the gap between cold code and warm nostalgia.
They realized that while technology made capturing memories easier, viewing them on flat, two-dimensional phone screens felt detached and impersonal.
Leveraging their technical backgrounds, they engineered the Bemo Ball™ (short for "Be Memorable")—not just as a gadget, but as a "magical" vessel for digital moments.
By compressing high-definition display tech into a palm-sized, glowing sphere, they successfully transformed video from a file on a drive into a tangible, holdable artifact that feels as special as the memory itself.
What is a BeMo Ball?
The Bemo Ball™ (short for "Be Memorable") is a palm-sized, spherical video player designed to turn digital video clips into a physical, glowing artifact. Imagine a digital photo frame reimagined as a fortune teller’s crystal ball, a 70mm glass orb that loops your favorite memories in high definition (1080p) without the need for apps, Wi-Fi, or phone scrolling.
Key Feautures
Form Factor: A heavy, premium glass sphere (palm-sized) with a curved "crystal" display on the front and a matte electronic housing on the back.
Function: It acts like a magical flash drive; you simply plug it in via USB-C, drag and drop your video files, and it loops them endlessly on battery power.
The Vibe: A blend of future-tech and nostalgia, designed to look like a magical artifact sitting on a desk or nightstand.
Hold on to the moments that matter.
Sincerely,
Kyle and James H.
